The script of Webber’s later version is way better than this one. In this Ken Hill’s version, the character of Raul is more innocent and less strong than Webber’s and the phantom has been portrayed more like a manic killer, lacking the characterics that make people want to sympathize with him. All actors sang really well, just the old script is not as good as I expected it to be.
